Back in 2018 BLUEROCK Tools was contacted by the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) Racing Team at UCLA requesting equipment to assist in their car builds. The UCLA team is made up of undergraduate students who design, build, and race a formula-style race-car in the SAE Collegiate Design Series. The team competes against other universities from around the world.  BLUEROCK ended up sponsoring the team through donation of tools that efficiently and effectively prepare their car for competition.  

The equipment donated by BLUEROCK Tools included BLUEROCK brand pipe sanding machines, which are essential for preparing the race-car chassis. These machines are designed to quickly and efficiently sand down the pipes to ensure a smooth surface, which is crucial for optimal welds.
